AboutJohn
John has played local league snooker for over 35 years, mainly in the Huddersfield leagues. John played Yorkshire league snooker for several years and has a highest break of 133.
Snooker players are rarely coached; this is something that needs to become more accepted, as it is in other ball sports such as as golf or tennis. A keen student of the game, John wants to help players improve.
John qualified as a Level 2 WPBSA Professional Snooker Coach (in conjunction with 1st 4 Sport) in October 2017. This qualification is the first independently accredited coaching course ever run by the WPBSA and John was one of the first 4 people to complete the new Level 2 course.
The picture to the right was taken during the 4-day intensive course, which included a whole day with Steve Davis, discussing the merits of different coaching styles and technical approaches.
John is the proud creator of The Knowledge: Every Ball, Every Angle. An essential guide for any player who is serious about improving their snooker. More to follow in Summer 2018.

What some happy customers say:
"...I have much more reliability now and higher pot success. John is very friendly and down to earth but very knowledgable and organised. He had a systematic approach which I have found very easy to follow. Highly recommend John’s coaching whatever your level you will improve. "
